Wildlife Habitat Council: “Wildlife at Work”

When it comes to protecting local wildlife habitat, we aim to go above and beyond. That’s why our efforts were recognized by the Wildlife Habitat Council. In fact, Cemex was one of the first to earn the “Wildlife at Work” designation, which recognizes environmentally-friendly companies that protect and nurture local ecosystems. Every day, our team of environmental professionals work hard to maintain the high standards set by the Wildlife Habitat Council. In Hernando County, we’ve set aside nearly 4,000 acres for local wildlife, including a mixture of hardwood hammock, wetlands and ponds.
